Key member of a cultural advocacy group dedicated to the exposure, growth, and advancement of the local art, music, and business community. Functions include fine art, graphic design, strategic planning, sponsorships, events and marketing.

 

  • Co-Founder and Organizer of BVGN (Bay View Gallery Night) (2011 - Present) Bay View Gallery Night is a bi-annual event conceived, promoted and executed by Jeff Redmon and Chuck Watson. The BVGN mission is to encourage and highlight the connection between local arts, local business and the community at large, thereby stimulating the local economy and artist community. Promoting this connection allows for greater awareness of our local economic and artistic wealth and helps foster an atmosphere of cooperation in the community. Bringing crowds of 10,000+ per event.

  • Organizer - Arte Para Todos (2015 - Present) Milwaukee musicians and artists perform in multiple venues across the city to raise funds for school art programs and celebrate music and art culture. APT has raised $80K in the first four years. 100% of the proceeds were donated to the art programs of the partner schools.

  • Founder and Organizer of CultureJam MKE (2015 - Present). A provocative indie art series, showcasing outstanding regional artists challenging dominant notions of the relationship between human beings and their physical and mental environments. There have been six highly regarded CultureJam MKE exhibitions to date, CultureJam MKE, Easily Discarded, Guns and Money, Truth Be Told, Revolution, True Lies and Pop CultureJam.

 

  • Curator at The Muse (June 2015 - June 2017) Curated quarterly art exhibitions with some of the finest artists that Milwaukee has to offer at the popular Bay View Guesthouse and Gallery.

 

  • Curator at The Tonic Tavern (January 2012 - February 2017) Curated and marketed monthly art exhibitions in the fireplace lounge area. Specializing in exhibits of contemporary art, which helped define it as a great alternative art destination in Milwaukee.
